Focus: Breaststroke technique, open turns, and other breaststroke-related skills

Our primary goal is to provide swimmers with valuable insights into the nuances of breaststroke, thereby boosting their confidence and improving their technique. In addition, we aim to provide them with a deeper understanding of the sport and offer exposure to what it takes to compete at the Big Ten and Division 1 levels.

This clinic is designed to be all encompassing and intended for all ages. The beginning of the water session will focus on body position, technique work. We'll then apply the technical aspects to breastroke swimming that swimmers can use in race pace practices and races. After the stroke piece, we'll move onto skill work. This includes a fast open turn and strong pull-out (10 yards into and out of the turn.)
